CAFÉ ZELIG

Café Zelig
Documentary by Tanja Cummings, 96 min., Germany 2020

Every week, last Holocaust survivors meet in Munich's Café Zelig. There is much laughter, holidays to celebrate, arguing and discussions, but there is also silence and mourning. Some of the “Zeligs”, also children of theirs, make their way back to their past, to their old home country Poland, and they show how difficult it was and is to this day to find their way back to life – in Germany.
